My Process:

  1. Stakeholder Brief

I start the process with a meeting between myself and all stakeholders to discuss all problems, ideas, potential solutions, and to set expectations.

  2. Research

Before starting any project I like to conduct a market analysis, read up on design and marketing best practices related to that particular segment, and find case studies to validate my ideas.

  3. Lo-Fi

This is my first iteration of any design project. The Lo-Fi wireframe consists of the layout, product functionality, navigation, structure, placeholder text, and placeholder images.

  4. Validation

I will present the Lo-Fi mockup and ask for feedback from the stakeholders. In this meeting we will make all layout and design decisions. I will then require all copy, graphics, images, and logos to be sent over in order to create the Hi-Fi mockup.

  5. Hi-Fi

Once I have received all assets, I will put them together in a High Fidelity rendering. There will also be a style guide available for the developers.

  6. Handoff

This is the phase of the project where I will become the go-between from the stakeholders to the developers. This is where the clients needs and my design will come to life.
